Greetings From the President

Greetings!
Thank you for visiting our website. On behalf of the members of Mu Beta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our virtual home. We are excited to share our programs, sisterly relations, and community outreach activities with you.
Mu Beta Omega is proud of our 44-year history of serving the city of Inglewood and the greater Los Angeles community. We are a sisterhood of incredibly talented and caring women who routinely give of ourselves and our resources in service to all mankind. Under the leadership of our esteemed International President & CEO, Danette Anthony Reed, Mu Beta Omega is making great strides in the communities we serve while working assiduously to implement and support the Sorority’s International Program: Soaring to Greater Heights of Service & Sisterhood. The international program includes six initiatives to strengthen the bonds of sisterhood, enhance our communities, and improve our environment.
The initiatives are:
-
Strengthen Our Sisterhood
-
Empower Our Families
-
Build Our Economic Wealth
-
Enhance Our Environment
-
Advocate For Social Justice
-
Uplift Our Local Community
If you are a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® in search of a chapter, we invite you to visit Mu Beta Omega. We meet the first Saturday of the month, September through June.
Again, thank you for visiting our website. You are cordially invited to visit this page and our social media pages.
We appreciate your support, and we look forward to seeing you soon!
