On behalf of the members of Mu Beta Omega Chapter, I am delighted that you chose to visit our website. Welcome!

It is an honor and privilege to serve as the 2024-2025 President of Mu Beta Omega Chapter which was chartered on May 21, 1978, in Inglewood, California.

​

Our members are committed to the ideals of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated as we render SERVICE TO ALL MANKIND. We are dedicated to supporting and implementing service activities that align with the 2022-2026 International Program under the leadership of our International President and CEO, Danette Anthony Reed - “Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood.”. This includes our six initiatives which are to:

o    Strengthen our Sisterhood

o    Empower Our Families

o    Build Our Economic Wealth

o    Enhance Our Environment

o    Advocate for Social Justice

o    Uplift Our Local Community

We proudly serve as advisors and mentors to Xi Upsilon,

our undergraduate chapter located on the campus of California State University Dominguez Hills, in the city of Carson, CA. We work closely with them imparting guidance with intergenerational collaboration which definitely makes an impact that benefits both of our communities.

I am so excited to lead Mu Beta Omega as we continue to STRENGTHEN OUR SISTERHOOD and be continue in the footsteps of our illustrious Founders.
